Flooding Protection of Residential Homes, New Jersey

In Lavalette, the borough of New Jersey, USA, Geoplast and Messano Associates Inc., worked on raising the foundations of villas, to counter measure the frequent floods, as the area is surrounded by Barnegat Bay and the Atlantic Ocean.

Geotub allowed the fast and easy construction of round concrete columns under the houses, in order to create a passage for the water in the case of unexpected floods. It offers the protection up to 3 meters, or 10 feet, water rise.
